Background

Our Quangzhou Milk Oolong Tea is grown in the Wuyi Mountains in Northern Fujian, China. Its unique flavor is made possible by a sudden shift in the mountain air temperature. Chinese legend claims that centuries ago, the moon fell in love with a passing-by comet. The comet came, passed by, burned out and vanished. The saddened moon sighed in grief, blowing a great wind through the mountains, causing a quick temperature drop. The next morning, when the tea pickers were surprised to find leaves that would produce tea with a special milky quality.

This Oolong starts out with a burst of sweet vanilla and finishes with hints of orchid. The color of the brew is a deep, dark yellow that seems to go deeper than your cup. It’s an experience worth taking a moment to savor.
